We understand how important secure housing is to the success of families and individuals.
A stable and suitable home allows working parents to hold steady jobs, keep children consistently enrolled in the same schools, and reinforces the inherent dignity of all who live there. We help our neighbors transition into safe and affordable homes through assistance with rent and move-in costs and a plan to prevent homelessness and poverty.
COVID-19 RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM APPLICATIONS FOR ROUND TWO are NOW OPEN!! Closes nov. 8th
CCYOSO partners with Season of Sharing, an outside agency that provides one-time assistance with rental and move-in deposits.
We encourage you to talk with one of our housing case managers who can offer guidance, provide a referral to an outside agency, or help you with housing applications and other forms.
“We are reminded in the gospel that the first human problem Jesus faced on earth was a lack of shelter. There was ‘no room in the inn’ for the Holy Family in Bethlehem. Today, we see in the faces of homeless men, women, and children, the face of Christ. We know that in reaching out to them, standing with them in defending their rights, in working with them and their families for decent housing, we serve the Lord.”
- U.S. Bishops, Homelessness and Housing: A Human Tragedy, A Moral Challenge
Our caring case managers meet with each client to discuss the various factors contributing to their housing issues and to identify the best course of action.
In addition to rental and move-in assistance, our case managers provide counseling and tools to help with budgeting, shopping and savings strategies, and proactive measures to prevent homelessness. Our ultimate goal is to help each client attain a stable home and self-sufficiency.

I was raised in a generation, and certainly in a family, where it was required to care for your family and friends and help those in need. I have always been one who wants to give back to the community, so working with CCYOSO was a perfect fit for me.
