Your Impact

Your support provides life-changing services and programs to help our neighbors move beyond poverty by providing food and SNAP benefits to families in need, hot meals to homeless men and women on the street, legal services to stabilize immigrant families, disaster recovery services to victims of natural disasters and so much more.

Feeding the hungry

Last year, our Food and Nutrition Programs provided over 2700 food boxes to families and signed up over 200 households for CalFresh food stamps. This year, we expanded our Food and Nutrition Program with two new programs: the Pop-Up Food program which provides produce to needy communities throughout Solano County and the Mensa Christi outreach food distribution which partners with St. Catherine of Siena Parish to feed over 400 homeless men and women twice a week.

Last year, we assisted over 700 households facing eviction, giving over $6 million in rental assistance throughout Solano County and providing over $550,000 in direct assistance to help over two hundred fire victims recover from the 2020 wildfires in Yolo and Solano counties.

Welcoming the stranger

Our immigration legal services program continues to build a foundation in Yolo County. Last year, we served over 500 individuals and families seeking legal status. These services have reduced anxiety, fear of family separation, and kept our clients from being victims of fraudulent immigration services.
