Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 2pm by appointment only.
We have adopted a web-based service model to comply with social distancing guidelines
and make it easier to apply for rental and food assistance.
Our Food Pantry provides emergency food services to residents of Solano County. If you are in need, please call us at (707) 644-8909 for an appointment or click below to request help online. Food distribution is subject to availability.
CalFresh Application/Re-certification Assistance
CalFresh is a nutrition program that helps low-income individuals and families put healthy and nutritious food on the table. Those who meet federal income eligibility rules are issued an EBT card that works like a debit card that can be used at most grocery stores and many farmers markets. Catholic Charities can help you expedite the application process or get re-certified for CalFresh.
Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order to allow current CalFresh recipients to continue receiving this benefit without interruption or need for re-certification
Call 1-855-309-3663 for more information on food pantries and eligibility.
MORTGAGE / RENTAL ASSISTANCE
Seasons of Sharing
CCYS partners with Season of Sharing, an outside agency that provides one-time assistance with rental and move-in deposits. Under COVID-19, Seasons of Sharing has expanded assistance to help pay for 1 month of arrears and 1 month in the future. At this time, the income sufficiency standard will not be applied for applicants who suffered income loss due to COVID-19.
In addition, the United Way’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund will enable us to offer housing and utilities assistance to those affected by the pandemic.
To speak with a case manager regarding your situation, or to receive more information please call 707-644-8909, select "Family Assistance" to leave a message or connect to a Case Manager.
Catholic Charities of Yolo-Solano offers a full range of immigration services to residents of Solano, Yolo and surrounding counties.
