  • For low income and needy families of Vallejo. NOW WITH FRESH PRODUCE!

  • Available Monday through Thursday by appointment only. Call 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM for information and to make an appointment. Scheduled food pick-up appointments are from 2:00 pm to 4:30 PM, Mondays to Thursdays.

  • Holiday Food Giveaways. Call for the exact dates and times of our sign-up

Season of Sharing Rental Assistance
  • Available to families with minor children 17 years and younger, senior citizens (55 years or older), or permanently disabled (SSI; SSA; Veteran’s benefits recipients)

  • One time assistance only

  • Must be a Vallejo resident for at least 30 to 60 days

Nutrition Education &
Obesity Prevention

 Solano County Only

The nutrition education/obesity prevention (NEOP) program aims to promote health in our community through engaging, informative classes and workshops. The lessons include:

  • Basic nutrition education

  • Tips for making healthier food choices

  • Preparing budget-conscious healthy recipes

  • Fresh produce giveaways

  • Food preparation demonstrations/free food samplings

  • Resources for obtaining healthy food throughout the community

  • Grocery Store and Farmer’s Market activities

More classes coming soon! Stay tuned for schedule.

Save money and avoid hidden fees. Free tax filing is available to households with a 2018 income of $55,000 or less. Services funded by a grant from United Way of the Bay Area.
